How do I get to Cardinal Ridge?

Cardinal Ridge is on the west side of Iowa City, not far from West High School. It adjoins the Walnut Ridge neighborhood. Currently the best way to access it is via Melrose Avenue, turning north onto Kennedy Parkway, which is the entrance to Walnut Ridge. Take Kennedy Parkway all the way through to the end, where Cardinal Ridge begins. Eventually there will be access from Camp Cardinal Road, once construction is complete.

Are there restrictive covenants for Cardinal Ridge?

May we use our own builder?

Yes. Lots for sale in Cardinal Ridge may be built upon by any builder. There are design restrictions as explained in the covenants.

Is there a homeowners association?

Yes. Upon purchasing a lot or an existing home in Cardinal Ridge you immediately become a member of the homeowners’ association.

Are there association dues?

Yes. The amount of the dues has yet to be determined.

Which utilities are available?

Cable TV, telephone, electricity, natural gas & water are all provided.

In which school district is Cardinal Ridge?

Students who live in Cardinal Ridge attend Northwest Junior High and Horn elementary schools. For information on which high school you children will attend, please call the Iowa City Community School District at (319) 688-1000.
